Organization & Leadership

FEWA is governed by a six member Board of Directors who are elected annually to one-year terms.   While the Board of Directors is charged with the responsibility for all Association operations, the membership, meeting in General Assembly, has full and equal powers of decision and counsel on Association matters. FEWA employs a professional staff to manage day-to-day Association activities.

Member Services

The primary benefit of FEWA membership is affiliation with farm equipment wholesalers for the enhancement of business through idea and information sharing, continuing education and contact with other shortline industry wholesalers and suppliers.

The FEWA office serves as a clearinghouse for information about products which are available for wholesalers; about manufacturers seeking to market through independent distributors, and general industry and economic news. FEWA's meetings, seminars, publications and industry contacts all contribute to the dissemination of vital information to the membership concerning product, legal, legislative, research and general industry information.

Being part of FEWA's shortline industry database is vital for member-to-member communications and for contact with the more than 1,500 suppliers listed with FEWA.

Industry Relations

FEWA maintains liaison with other industry segments including state and regional dealer associations, the North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA), the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA), the Agricultural & Industrial Manufacturers Representatives Association (AIMRA), Associated Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), AMC-Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada, the agricultural trade associations of the European nations, and the various commodity associations of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW).

FEWA members are eligible to participate in the group visitations to international shows such as the SIMA and the Western Canada Farm Progress Show.

As a member association of NAW, FEWA's members are represented in Washington, D.C. through NAW's lobbying efforts on behalf of  wholesaler-distributors.
